Types of Dent
Small Dents
Commonly your everyday door dents from carparks, opening door-to-door impacts, road debris/stone chips (where it hasn’t damaged the paint), trolley damage etc.Size-wise these are anything from a 5p to a £2 Coin
Medium Dents
Commonly from minor knocks/collisions, heavier door-to-door impacts, palm/elbow damage from falling onto a car, golf ball strikes etc.Size-wise anything from a 50p Piece to a Tennis Ball in diameter.
Large Dents
Commonly from collisions, items from garages dropped onto vehicle, vandalism, animal collisions etc.Size-wise larger than a Tennis Ball on a single panel.
Creases
Commonly from door-to-door impacts, Items dropped onto vehicle, wheelie bin collisionsBodyline Dents
Commonly from door-to-door impacts as the bodylines are the most pronounced part of some panels making them first point of impact.Hail Damage
Commonly in storms whilst cars are in transit from Europe/US - Classified as Minor Hail being 1-30 dents, and major hail 30+ dents.

Quoting Considerations
Every dent is different, and there are a number of factors that we take into consideration when quoting a repair. Below is a brief guideline of the process that goes into our pricing matrixes.
- How many dents are to be repaired
- Type of panel material - Steel or Aluminium
- Measurement of damage (in mm)
- Depth of damage - Shallow or deep
- Any stretch damage to the panel
- Surface area - (Bodyline, Convex/Concave curved Panel, Flat Panel).
- Original Paint, or repainted
- Tool Access
- Can the damage be reached with conventional tools
- Any strip and fit of trims required
- Is Glue Pull required
